Touting Meego and App Up as a chance to get in on the ground floor of a new app dev os.  Cites fragmentation and being buried in the app stores as they currently are. Intel App Up has the vision that the product will teach across a continuum of devices.  Tablet, netbook, internet enabled tv, and in vehicle entertainment.  You will be able to license your game on up to five devices. Partnering with Best Buy, Asus, Walmart, Dixons and others.  Retailers can put a logo on the store or they can completely white label their store.  Their goal is to have stores specialize in curation of apps developed for App Up to allow for a better shopping experience.

For consumers the store will be available anywhere in the world for free apps. (Except embargoed countries).  Consumers can buy paid apps in 27 countries.  Developers can submit apps from ten countries at this time.

First focus was netbooks because there are 70M currently in the market.  Running intel atom.  Looks like apps have a new player.
