My Motivation:
Motivated by a belief that better communication and better collaboration will move us healthily through the challenges at hand. Based on past experience, I see learning and technology combined with community action is the way to move forward. Currently at work building a dedicated community of designers, technologists and investors to create applications for public purpose with Applications for Good at One Economy. Previously I led the design and implementation of One Economy's Digital Connectors national curriculum and educator trainings. We designed, developed and built partnerships for the suite of online tools to implement the program nationally, including the curriculum website, Connectors Club and Digi-Staffing. Prior to One Economy, served as Program Director with Just Think, bringing media literacy into schools and enrichment programs. Just Think continues to develop on The Public Internet Channel. From 2005-2010 volunteered as learning design consultant and project mentor with the Southeast Asian Leadership Network based at Stanford. The network produces and delivers student-led service work every summer in Southeast Asia.
